Three Programmes
A programme for each stage of readiness.
vellumcomes offers three distinct programmes. Each has a defined scope, a clear process, and a tangible deliverable. Choose based on where you are and what you want to understand.

How every programme is structured
Prepared session materials
Each session uses prepared, anonymised examples drawn from real Malaysian document formats.
Small groups or one-to-one
Group sizes are kept small, and the Written Financial Plan is conducted with a single household throughout.
Printed outputs
Every programme ends with a physical deliverable you can take home and consult in future.
Programme One
Household Archive Workshop
A one-day Saturday workshop for adults who want to build a small, well-kept archive of their household financial documents. The workshop covers bank statements, EPF records, insurance policies, property documents, tax returns, and wills — how long to keep each type in the Malaysian context, how to organise paper and digital copies, and how to schedule a light annual review. Each participant leaves with a printed index template and a set of labelled folder dividers.
- Malaysian document retention rules — what to keep and for how long
- Organising paper and digital copies so a spouse or adult child can locate them
- Annual review schedule — a light process that takes an afternoon each year
- Printed index template and labelled folder dividers to take home

Programme Two
Reading Policy Documents
A four-session programme devoted to reading the documents the client already owns. Covered document types include insurance policies, unit trust prospectuses, EPF statements, PRS consolidated statements, property sale-and-purchase agreements, and common loan agreements. The facilitator does not recommend products — the programme is about becoming a more confident reader of one's own paperwork. Each session reviews the general structure of a document type using anonymised examples, then gives participants time to work through their own documents. Small groups only, to allow unhurried questions.
- Insurance policies and takaful certificates — how to read what you signed
- EPF and PRS statements — understanding your consolidated position
- Property agreements and loan documents — key clauses explained
- Time to work through your own documents in each session

Programme Three
Written Financial Plan Engagement
A four-month engagement whose single deliverable is a readable, printed written plan that captures the household's current position and considered decisions for the coming three years. The engagement is structured around five meetings: an initial listening meeting, three working meetings covering cash flow, medium-term goals, and risk, and a closing review. Between meetings the client receives drafts to read and mark up. The final document is typeset and printed on good paper so that it feels like a considered record rather than a brochure.
- Five structured meetings across four months
- Drafts to review and mark up between each meeting
- A typeset, printed written plan as the final deliverable
- One follow-up call within three months of completion
